Health and Disability Services Complaints Office
The Health and Disability Services Complaints Office (HaDSCO) is an independent statutory authority providing an impartial resolution service for complaints relating to health or disability services provided in the State of Western Australia. This service is free and available to the community in Western Australia and the Indian Ocean Territories (IOT). HaDSCO was formerly known as the Office of Health Review until November 2010.
HaDSCO promotes leadership in the delivery of health and disability services via effective communication and supports improvement through complaint resolution.
Details of the projects and initiatives currently underway can be found on HaDSCO's online engagement platform - Collaborate and Learn. This site has been created to provide opportunities for HaDSCO to listen, engage and respond to consumers and providers in a collaborative way. Collaborate and Learn showcases dedicated project or area pages where reports, information and topical discussions can be shared. On the site there are a range of resources and case studies available to aid improvements across the health, disability and mental health sectors.
