  • Learning from complaints about mental health services 22 March 2021 The Health and Disability Services Complaints Office (HaDSCO) is an independent Statutory Authority offering an impartial resolution service for complaints relating to health, disability and mental health services in Western Australia and the Indian Ocean Territories. HaDSCO exhibited at TheMHS Learning Network Virtual Conference – Balancing the System held from 9 – 12 February 2021. HaDSCO developed an Information Sheet: Learning from complaints about mental health services which is available to download here.
  • Data Trends Reports Published 02 February 2021 The Health and Disability Services Complaints Office (HaDSCO) collects information from private, public and not-for-profit organisations every year through its Data Collection Program. HaDSCO publishes two reports, on health and disability, which provide an in-depth analysis of the external complaints trends. A high level summary of the data is published in our Annual Report. The latest Disability Services Data Collection Report 2016-17 to 2019-20 is now available to download here. The latest Health Complaints Trends Report 2015-16 to 2019-20 is now available to download here.
  • Palliative Care 26 November 2020 The Health and Disability Services Complaints Office (HaDSCO) is an independent Statutory Authority offering an impartial resolution service for complaints relating to health, disability and mental health services in Western Australia and the Indian Ocean Territories. Complaints about health services include end of life and palliative care. Sarah Cowie, Director of HaDSCO, presented at the Palliative Care WA Summit on 26 November 2020. HaDSCO developed an Information Sheet: Learning from complaints about end of life and palliative care for the event which is available to download here.
